I have 15 XP computers networked to a Lexmark T622. every
time they try to print, a message comes up that says the
printer is low on ink. I hit the don't remind me button,
but it still comes up. The printer is not low on ink.
This message only comes up on the computers I just
installed, which have Windows XP, and it does not come up
on the Windows 98 computers. any suggestions? Thanks!

Take out the cartridge and shake it! Hear anything? Feel anything?
Then its out of ink! Get a new cartridge. If it felt like there was
any fluid in it, replace it and try again. Sometimes and only
sometimes the ink dries out at the bottom and shaking it stirs it up.
How do I know this, I bought a new cartidge and it didn't wotk. I read
the instructions which said" don't shake the cartrisge". I took it
back to Office Depot and the clerk shook the hell out of it. And guess
what it worked. So much for reading instructions! :-)

.

I think maybe someone shook the hell out of you when you
were a baby. Did you see in the OP where it says that
the problem doesn't occur with 98?
