Printer installation

I have a Lexmark 73 which has been working perfectly for 2
years.
I recently had a worm and a virus and removed the printer
installation.
Now trying to re-instal I can only get the scanner in
place.
I get the following error message:
Cannot find C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3
\lxarunst.exe
Any help for a pensioner?

It's a Lexmark. Disconnect the printer and follow Bruce Sanderson's
instructions on how to COMPLETELY remove it.... see his
special section on Lexmark printers.

After cleaning, reboot, download a new set of printer drivers from the
Lexmark website (www.lexmark.com) and install the software. Do NOT
reconnect the printer until the software tells you to do so.
