Printer hook-up

Not sure where to ask this, but, can I connect to a HP
laserJet with a parallel cable, and also have it on a
network with a jet-direct card installed ???
 
That would depend on the printer. If it can handle simutaneous input
then yes. The "network" has nothing to do with it.
