"Printer Has Not Yet Responded" message

I've recently reinstalled Office XP. I use a printer that I don't usually
leave on. Before I reinstalled I didn't have a problem. Now, whenever I
open a Word doc, and if my printer is off, I get the message: "The printer
has not yet responded but the Microsoft Office program may be able to
proceed.... Do you want to continue to wait for the printer? Yes/No"

I would for this question not to keep coming up. Is there some way I can
convince Office not to keep looking for a printer?

Buy her some maternity clothes. It matches the spirit of your
word.docmanagement message posting, and she's not likely to forget the gift,
either.

Spam is OT by definition, and this particular subject line, even if it were
not spam, would be OT in this NG (it belongs in word.printing.fonts). Trying
to get the use of this particular subject line prohibited seems to be a lost
cause, but it seems clear to me that some "spammer's manual" or "spam
software" is recommending or generating this particular subject line, given
the extent to which it has been used over the past few months for wildly
varied spam posts (many of them complete gibberish).
