Printer device fonts not listed

I am trying to print to a OKI 321 dot matrix printer but none of the
native printer fonts appear in the Font selection lists in Word,
Notepad, etc. - And using an alternate driver doesn't make any
difference. (even 'Generic Text-Only')
I have legacy software (which was fine with Windows 98) which
uses a [fixed pitch] printer font to layout onto pre-printed forms, and
Windows
fonts don't match the height or width (or the speed!)
 
You will need to select the "nearest matching font" to the "built in"
font for use in the document.
