Printer Banner Page Question

T

Tiglath

I have an Lexmark Optra attached to the LAN, which prints a banner page.

Clients run Windows 2000 Pro.

I thought that in this configuration the banner page (called separator page
in the Advanced printer conf dialog) was set by leaving blank the "separator
page" field at the client. But even so, it keeps printing a banner page.

How else can it be disabled?

Thanks

1) make sure that there is only one Lexmark printer driver installed

2) make sure that printer server is not configure to print a separator
page.

3) check the configuration of the printer as the printer can insert a
separator page also

The reason for 1 is drivers can share files, had these problem with a
HPIII and the HPII driver had the separator page check..........
