Many ways. Open Office does this natively, Office 2007 has an add-in to do
this, or you can download free pdf "printers" which will do that.
You DID try google before posting?
If you install one of the free PDF solutions mention, click print as
you normally do and you ought to see a new "printer" called DoPDF,
CutePDF, or whatever free version you installed. Click print and it
should bring up a Save To Location dialogue screen. Give the PDF file
a name and the rest is up to you.
Lots of other ways. First of all, Adobe Acrobat is the major program
that creates pdf files. Lots of other software does too, such as
WordPerfect, Microsoft Office 2007 (if you install the Microsoft
add-in to do it), Open Office, etc.
Thanks for the detailed advice. I haven't heard of an add-in before. I have
Microsoft 2007, and am trying to create a pdf from there. I'll search
Microsoft and see if I can find it. Thanks again for specifics and for
solving the problem.
