Print spooler

To all,

When I send prints to my printer if it gets to a document with say 37 pages,
once its printed the last page the printer still thinks its printing and wont
move on to the next document so i have to restart the print spooler service
and then it clears itself and moves onto the next document.

Why is this?

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A printer spooler stopping is nearly always the fault of broken or corrupted
drivers. Uninstall and reinstall the printer.

The Problem I have with that is that the printers are using the windows
Generic/Text Only drivers how do I re-install them?

Written for XP but the same procedure for 2000.

After reboot, use the Add Printer Wizard to install.
