print source from within IDE print not correct

I just subscribed to this forum.
When we print source code in VS.NET to a laser printer, all characters are
wrong.
Kind of control characters. We experience this on all our VS.NET
installations.
Printing from within VS 6.0 and Outlook works well.

Which version of VS?

See if there's an updated printer driver for your printer - if not,
try setting the printer option to print fonts as bitmaps.

We use network printer (HP LaserJet series).
The version is Visual Studio.NET (2002 i think). I will check. Same version
on other
computers delivers same problem.
On same computer VS 6.0 SP5 is still installed and this works/prints since
years.
I will ask the IT gurus to install latest printer driver on the network
server.
