Print several pages onto one sheet

Yes, I forgot about this. Does anyone know a freeware that allows you
to print several pages into one sheet of paper? At least how to look
for it?

Google for "2 up" or "4 up" printing etc.

I have two cheap laserprinters which came with drivers with this
capability. My HP LJ1010 does up to 16 pages on one sheet and the
Brother whatever type does whatever number of pages as well (too lazy
too look it up). So have a good look at your printer first. Perhaps
you have to install the driver which came with it rather than use
MS's.

That's not an easy thing to find. . . on the ACF pages there are few
apps.

Fineprint, a commercial product that does x-up printing, at one
time had a free version that printed up to 8 pages with an ad
page if you printed 8.

I have used it for years without difficulty.

I think it works better and faster than the similar utility in
the driver for my HP 1100. The HP driver runs at a crawl doing
large pdf files.

Fineprint now charges an outragesous $50 the last time I looked.
If they weren't so gready and charged a reasonable price, I
would have bought it long ago.

I have heard it alleged that it is possible to get around the 8
page limit with a Macro Express macro that prints out 8 or fewer
pages at a time.
 
A person could hunt for "free" all their lives, while they do not follow a
path
that would make them wealthy, so they would have all the abundance of the
world.
