Print Server over dial up network

Not sure if you can help me with this or not. I have a simple network set up.

One computer running Windows XP home networked to two Jetdirect 170X print
severs. All works fine on this coomputer and the print servers work great.

Now I have another office that dials directly into my computer from modem to
modem, that computer is also running Windows XP Home. I can't get that
computer to see the printers that are networked to my computer no mater what
I do.

I have used this method, of have my other office dial into my computer, so
that they can print on my printers for some time. But the printes had always
been hooked direct to my LPT ports until now.

Sorry for the multiple post on this subject. It kept saying that their was an
error posting and that I had to redo it. Must be a glitch somewhere.

I don't see a way to delete the multiple posts, maybe an admin will catch
this and get rid of them.

You can't delete them, no, but don't worry about it. Note that if you use a
newsreader like OE or Forte Agent or something instead of the web interface,
you are unlikely to run into this problem, and will get all sorts of other
benefits. It's a lot easier to do nearly everything that way, including
searching, which is always a good idea to do before you post, as well as
mark messages to be watched, and filter based on replies to your posts.

The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like - no authentication/credentials
required. Just make sure to 'munge' your email address so you don't end up
with spam/viruses sent to you.
