Print queue and unauthenticated network users

XP Home SP1 peers on a NetBeui LAN, sharing one printer which was installed for all users.

Whilst admin users can access the print queue and cancel jobs which are in error and thus blocking the queue, unauthenticated users do not have permission to do this.

This is after I gave Everyone change permission for c:\windows\system32\spool\printers. The Everyone trick worked for other folders; what is different about the print queue and how may I work around it?

Get rid of NetBeui and use TCP/IP. XP does not like mixing and matching
protocols and the default in XP is TCP/IP.
