Print que hangs up, and next document wont print for several minut

I just installed a Canon iP4200 with USB connection. The printer will print
the first document fine, but if I try to print another right after that, the
previous document still shows up in the que and it wont release it for
several minutes. This keeps the second document from printing. Im running
WXPPro SP2. If I manually stop and restart the print spooler service I am
able to print the second document. Any ideas on why the spooler is hanging?

Usually it's down to corrupted printer drivers. I'd completely uninstall
and reinstall if I were you to see if this clears up the problem.
