Print que hanging

I have a Xerox Phaser 850 printer. After I installed it on all the
computers in my network everything worked fine for 2 days. On the
third day when anyone tries to print the job gets stuck in the print
que at 72 bytes. This is consistant regardless of the size of the
print job. I ca cancel the jobs with no problem or I can let them time
out with the error: There was an error found printing the document
"Insert document name here" to IP_192.168.1.252. Do you wnat to retry
or cancel the job? If I retry the same error message appears after
about a minute or two. If I cancel that happens just fine. Computers
on the network are Win2k and WinXP with all the latest updates from
MS. The drivers for the printer are the latest from Xerox.

I should have also added that using the test print features on the
printer itself works fine.
