print preview does not display watermarks

I created a watermark for my Word2003 document. I can see the watermark when
in Print Layout View. However, when I print preview the document, the
watermark does not display.

In Tools, Options, Include with document - I have the Background colors and
images checkbox checked. I checked Drawing objects and that is when I was
able to see the watermark in print preview and Print Layout View at the same
time.

Can someone point me to a better explination of the Tools, Options and how
the options relate to one another? The help and on-line help systems do not
indicate that these options relate to each other in any way.

"Background colors and images" is irrelevant to watermarks created using
Format | Background | Printed Watermark. "Drawing objects" applies to
anything in the drawing layer, including watermarks and text boxes. For
more, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/DrwGrphcs/DrawLayer.htm
