print preference

I can no longer get into print setup (preference) I
uninstalled the printer several times no luck.
The error I receive is PDP properties MFC application
error contact Microsoft.I have WindowsXP,Lexmark X125
printer that worked fine in June,no one seems to be
able to help!

It's a Lexmark.

You'll need to look at Bruce Sanderson's article and do a complete blitz of
all the printer drivers.... and pay particular attention to his special
section on Lexmark printers.

After it's all cleaned up, reboot the PC. Download a new set of printer
drivers from the Lexmark website and install the software BEFORE connecting
the printer to the PC.
