print page numbers

I have split my document into chapters with section breaks and put page
numbers at bottom centre. Page numbers show on screen but do not print.
Please help

If field codes, such as { PAGE }, print instead of page numbers, then
clear the "Field codes" option on the Print tab of Tools | Options,
and then try printing again.

If nothing prints, make sure that the page number wasn't positioned
outside of the printable area of the page.
