Print Legal Landscape problem

Access 2000
Windows XP Pro

With the .mdb file, reports are printed to the default printer in the paper
size and orientation saved with the report. However, after the .mde file is
created the user has to select the paper size and orientation through Page
Setup. This has aggravated one user who may run several reports/day.
I have read a number of articles recommended in this community and other
sources on how to get around this but with an Access front end that has 330 +
reports and a customized set of printing modules, I don't look forward to the
challenge of adapting the techniques in any of these article. Is there any
simple way to do this for one or two reports in an .mde?

Lets cover the basics of this:

1.) Access 2000 has a known bug that will reset paper size and orientation
unless the Name Auto-Correct is turned off and/or Service Release 1 is
applied. Have you done that?

2.) Access has historically operated (since verion 1.1) in the following
fashion: If you preview a report, then using File -> Print, bring up the
print dialog and select a new printer (MDB or MDE) the report's layout will
revert to the "default" layout that printer has set, which is normally
portrait and letter or A4 or something similar. To retain the set layout
and paper size, the printer selection must be done while the repot is
closed. You can manage this in A2000 by changing the default printer for
the local machine. Give your user a printer selection combo on the form
where they send the report to print to handle this.
