Legal Size Reports

I always have to reset my reports to legal size before
printing.

In Microsoft's knowledge base, there is a great tip that
gives a module to reset the page size before printing the
report (302650). This works fine if you are using an .mdb
file but if the users are using .mde file the it errors
because in .mde you are not able to go into design view of
reports.

Is there any other way to get the reports set to legalsize
without having to go into design view?

I think some of this is the "intelligence" of the printer driver. Even in Preview
mode, Access is using the printer driver to assemble the report. If your printer
driver is capable of determining that the current default printer either does not
support legal size paper at all or at least does not currently have that size loaded,
then the report might revert to letter-size based on that. It would be the same if
you set your margins to .25 inches and then used the report on a PC where the default
printer had a minimum of .5 inches. The margins would change on that PC.
