Print job won't cancel

I spooled a print job from Power Point (text). The first
page printed, then printing stopped. The printer is
normal, but the last two pages are still in the print
queue. I tried cancelling the job, but it just sits in
the queue with the status reading 'deleting - printing'.

Does anyone know how I can clear the print queue ?

I have the same type of problem--sorta kinda--with my
Epson 2200. I first take the paper out of the machine to
create an error, then reboot. When XP tries to reprint
the job and errors, I tell it to cancel and it does.
Hope that helps, although it's a pain.
