print file size = 0 bytes?

Hi,

I have a strange problem - when I print to a file (from any application, on
any installed printer) the print file size is 0 bytes.
OS is Win XP prof, all latest updates.
I tried to remove all the printers (also the server) and to reinstall, but
with the same result.
However, now I need to generate a print file and it is not working!
This is just frustrating...

Anybody else having the same problem?
Please help!

cheers,

Are you trying to print to file using a printer driver installed on a
network print server? If so, try installing the printer lically with
File as the port and try it that way.

Hello Tom,

all the printer drivers are installed locally on my PC.
The file size always 0 bytes - it doesn't matter which printer driver I am
using.

Thanks for any help.
