Print documents alphabetically

Is there any way to tell the print Queue to print
documents alphabetically.

we have hundreds of PDF files we want to print in
alphabetical order - but when we select a group of the pdf
documents - it prints randomly

Not to my knowledge, unless you queue the files, order them , and then
print. There are some third party utilities that the library systems use
that may be able to do this. They hold the print file until paid so much a
page for the copy.
As I remember, the temporary buffer file is assigned a random numerical
name. Perhaps this is the source of the random output order.
