Print dialog takes forever to display....

I have recently deployed about 50 new Dell GX620 P4 machines. We used
Symantec Ghost to load all of our nessecary software on the machines,
including Windows XP Pro with SP2.

All of our computers are on a network which utilizes a Windows Active
Directory Controller. There are approximately 100 users over this
network and 6 Sharp Multifuntion Printers. We have tried to print from
various programs and each time we are faced with a 60 second to 2
minute delay for the print dialog.

Anyone have a similar issue?

Hey be glad it is only a 1-2 minute delay, we are experiencing up to 5
minute delays across our WAN with XP/2k machines running with Win2k3 domain
and AD, but again, our servers/printers are located all over the country,
from New England to Hawaii, to Florida to Texas, which explains such a lag
period.
