print command opens Save As dialog box?

I appear to have inadvertently hit some combination of keys including Ctrl or
Alt while in Outlook Mail and have lost the ability to print messages. When I
hit the Print icon the program responds with a Save As dialog box in pdf
format. What have I done and what's the easiest way to undo it?

Sounds like you have a .pdf printer driver set as your default printer.
