Print barcode with escape codes.

I have server unix to send shared printer "text data" using SMB
protocol.
Printer is connected to Windows client and it's HP laserjet 5000.
I can see, sending data according this way, windows driver is not
used.
Can I print barcode without installing bar-dimm ?

This can be done but I only know of doing this with a graphical label
design system (such as LabelView.)
