Print address booklet, two sided printing

I want to print an Address Book on 8 1/2 X 11 paper, so that I get 2
pages per sheet in landscape view.

I kind of figured that part out, (but if you have a tricck to make
that easy, let me know).

The next part makes it harder:

When it is all printed, I want to be able to cut the pages and make a
booklet (for my daytimer). And I printing on both sides of the paper.

The Problem is that I when I sent the print job to the printer, as a
two sided prit job, the sort order of the pages needs to be 1, 3, 4,
2, 5, 7, 8, 6, .....

So that the font of the first sheet has Page 1 on the left, Page 3 on
the right.
The back side of that sheet would have Page 4 on the left and 2 on the
right, etc.

That way when I cut the paper, I get Page 1 on the front and page on
it's back, etc.

I thought I could print on the the ODD page numbers of the report, on
one side.
then I could run those sheets through the printer a second time, but
the I can't just do a "print even pages" type of thing because the page
order would need to be 4,2,8,6...

Anyone know how I might pull this off?
