Primax Colorado USB 19200

I realize that this is an old scanner, but I am desperately needing to set up
the software to run on my Windows XP Home Edition computer. I have the driver
for it (I assume) because I am able to scan items using a program called
Picture It. In order for me to fax items I was told that I needed the scanner
software to do it correctly. Right now I am using the Picture It program to
scan the pictures and then go to Frontpage and upload the pic there, then hit
the Print button but change it from Print to Fax. When I do it that way it
sometimes does not go through on my end and a friend said that I just had to
find the software.

I have searched online for the past 3 hours and found nothing. Can anyone
help me?

Thank you for your reply. I am just getting so fed up with trying to search
for something that no one is able to find anyways. I really must do something
or I will not be working much longer. Is there any program out there that I
might be able to use that would save it as a pdf file instead of a jpeg? Jpeg
images aren't good to fax and I just don't know what to do.

Thanks again.

Could not find any software and most of the drivers found were for
Windows 95/98. One had drivers for Windows 2000 which may work
for XP, check below. Looks like the only way you can do it, is how you
are doing it presently. The unit is just too old.

You'll need a Virtual PDF Printer to convert JPG to PDF and at
the below website you can get it free. Just click on Download on the
top toolbar.

My same scanner run on Windows XP Pro about 6 years with no problems and
with Windows98 drivers. In beggining (year 2000) I search 1 month drivers
for XP and find them, but software didn't work. After all problem I take
original scanner CD for old Windows(95,98etc.), install it and miracle-all
work like it must.
I think that you don't need XP drivers.
