Thank you for jumping on my question and responding so quickly. I see
the list of screensavers from the link you provided, but I cannot find
it from the Site Index pages of Desktop or Graphics which is the way I
have always entered into the individual categories. Am I missing
something or is this by design?

*If* you mean the subcategory links at the top of a web page - those links are *only* on the
Pricelessware pages - not on the ACF program info pages. The two sets of pages still look too darn
much alike. . .

If you mean something else then I don't understand the question. . .

The links on the ACF Category Index page are the easiest way to go directly to ACF subcategories. I
use that page a *lot*. . .

When I click on this link first:
http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2005/PL2005CategoryIndex.php
This link second:
http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2005/PL2005GRAPHICS.php#Organizer;Image
Gallery;Screensaver
I cannot find it

Neither this link:
http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2005/PL2005ProgramIndex.php?sortby=Cate
gory

Only from the link provided by you in your previous post is it
accessible by me. It appears subcategory "acf" in the link is the
magic place and all the pages I find are subcategory "2005". Hopefully
I am making myself clear.

Yup. :)

You're right about "acf" being the key to finding the ACF Category Index page. The ACF pages are in
the "acf" subdirectory, PL2005 pages are in the "2005" subdirectory etc. etc.

The various Category Index pages are listed in the site index like so:

"alt.comp.freeware" http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/#acf
scroll down to:
"acf Category Index" http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/acf/P_CategoryIndex.php

"Pricelessware 2005" http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/#2005
"2005 Category Index" http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2005/PL2005CategoryIndex.php

"Pricelessware 2004 Archive" http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/#2004
"2004 Category Index" http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2004/PL2004CategoryIndex.php

"Pricelessware 2003 Archive" http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/#2003
"2003 Category Index" http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2003/PL2003CategoryIndex.htm

Are you still awake? I find that numbness sets in rather quickly. . . You probably noticed that
the page names vary and also show the PL year. That's insurance against crossed eyes when I move
files around on my hard drive or upload them to the subdirectories on the web site. ;)

I am surprised the PricelessWareHome site doesn't have a list of
screensavers. Is that something others think would be a good addition?
Perhaps I have missed something but I don't recall seeing any
discussion on this.

Just want to warn those who are less experienced as they try to come up
with submissons for this category; one of the more commonly used malware
vectors is the screensaver. Be very careful as you try them out if
you've not seen them listed and positively described by reputable reviewers.

I think I'm getting the picture now. I just didn't realize there is a
difference between "acf" and "PL20*" categories. Up to now my searches
have been limited to the PL categories; I've been missing out on so
much more.

That explains why we were having trouble communicating with each other about the Category Index
page. ;)

Glad to hear you've discovered the ACF pages. Happy hunting. :)
