Screensavers anyone?

Hi,

Does anyone know sites offering truly free and working screensavers? It
seems like all I can find these days is adware/spyware screensavers, or
ones promoting sites and products. For Linux I used the great XScreensaver
which is a large collection of screensaver modules. Looking for something
similar for Windows has not given results as of now. If someone has a
freeware screensaver favorite I would be interested in that also.

TIA for help and/or pointers.

"IMPORTANT: These screensavers are written for Windows. They use OpenGL
and require OpenGL hardware acceleration for optimum performance. If you
don't have it, you probably need a better video card because these won't
run at top speed and they won't be nearly as mesmerizing as they could
be. It's also a good idea to make sure your OpenGL driver is current.
GLSetup is a good tool for solving this problem.

NOT SO IMPORTANT: These savers are freeware. Feel free to give them to
anyone and everyone. "

For something diferent, download the SETI@Home screensaver. That way you can actively help in
the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence (AKA aliens). You install the screensaver,
register a free account, download a packet of radio-telescope data & when your SETI screensaver
runs, it will analyse for signals of intelligent life from out there in the universe. The only
times it contacts the internet is to download a new data packet & upload your completed
analysis, and it will prompt you to do so first. The idea of the screensaver is that there is
too much data for their own systems to analyse in-depth, so they use the free CPU space of PC
users around the world to help out.

Hint: set it to "blank" out after a certain time for faster processing.

Grid computing is what it is.

On a similar note, if not into SETI or you want to do both, you can
download an "agent" that does the same kind of thing as the SETI program:
