Previous Locations Triangle in Windows Explorer

R

Rolly

To the right of the address bar in Windows Explorer there
is a downward pointing triangle. If the pointer hovers over
it the tooltip reads 'Previous Locations'. I'm at a loss to
discover what this means.

The help files don't explain it. There are one or two entries
when I click the triangle, but I've no idea why they appear
there and what would cause further entries to appear in the
list. The entries don't correspond to the folder history that
one gets by clicking the triangle to the left of the address
bar. Navigating around the directory tree in Windows Explorer
does not appear to cause further entries to be added.

I do not know if this is buggy behaviour or I simply do not
understand what should appear there.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

R.

This pertains to the address bar and contains locations where you've been,
some from the internet.
