Preview pane setting

Is it possible to programatically determine whether the preview pane is in
use?

I can't see any changes to the registry when I set/unset the option, and I
cannot see anything in OOM to help me (as Explorer.Panes only contains the
Outlook Bar).

Sorry, posted too soon. Just found the Explorer.IsPaneVisible method. My
apologies.
