Preview all open docs/apps on desktop?

I don't know how I just did it, but suddenly all my open apps (outlook, word,
internet explorer) showed up in mini versions on my desktop. When I scrolled
over one, it slightly enlarged. So, I could see all open docs at once on my
desktop.

I was going quickly and am not sure the sequence of clicks/keying that I did
to get there and I don't know how to get it again.

Anyway, I love that feature and would like to be able to use it. Does
anybody know what I'm talking about and how to make it happen??

Do you have a Microsoft wheelmouse(or Intellipoint 6.1 mouse software installed)?
This version has the capabilities to show thumbnail views of all open windows by
pressing the scroll wheel.When you hover over the thumbnails, they come to the
forefront & clicking on it opens that particular window.
