Prevent unwanted emails from being sent out.

I have a windows 2000SP4 server with 5 win xp sp2 clients. I have exchange
2k on the server. For some reason i cant send emails to the att.net domain,
I get an email saying my ip is blocked. I have a virus scanner on all my
machines. What can i do to find out what machine is spamming or is the
problem causing my ip to be blacklisted. Please any suggestions on what i
can buy or do to prevent my server from either relaying or spamming.

thanx

I am not an Exchange expert and you may also want to post in an Exchange
newsgroup but you can enable message tracking in Exchange to see who is
sending what email. You may also want to configure Exchange to manage limits
on the amount of messages that a user can send/receive to at reasonable
level for the time being which may flush out the problem computer/user if
they complain about their email access. Make sure that your Exchange server
is not being used as an unknown to you relay. The links below may help you
on that.

You can visit various websites that will tell you if your server (or
more correctly, your IP) is relaying. Do an Internet search. Also, the
message that tells you that you are blocked should give you more
information, such as the person to contact if you think that you are
invalidly blocked.
