Prevent showing duplicate records in Access and half of the field.

When I set a query to prevent showing duplicate records in Access, portions
of the field dissapear... what to do
 
Not much to go on, so I can only guess...

You have set the property of the query field to "integer", but the data
being queried is "double" ... what? you aren't working with numbers?!

Remember, ... can only guess ...
