Prevent Reply-All in Standard Toolbar after opening email message

We want to prevent people from using the Reply-All button upon opening a new
email message. I see how to take it off the Standard toolbar, but it shows up
when you open a new email message. We don't have to choose a specific form
every time we email a group; we'd just like to remove the Reply-All feature
from all emails. Is there a way to do this?

You can disable any menu or toolbar command, such as Reply to All, by using a Group Policy Object. The article at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011402401033.aspx explains how; look at the section on "Disabling menu items and command bar buttons." The ID for Reply to All is 355.

Your instructions are unclear. I have already removed the "Reply-All" from
the Standard toolbar, but it still shows up when you receive an email, and
open it. The Reply-All shows up at the top still. Not sure if this is what
you were trying to tell me to do our not; I can't see where I go to remove ID
355.

No, that's not what I was suggesting at all. Did you read the article I cited?

Yes, I did. I don't understand where I need to go in Outlook to disable
Reply-All, or as you said enter in "355". ?

You don't do it in Outlook. You said, "We want to prevent people..." This usually means that you want to centrally control users' settings through the tools that Windows offers. One of these tools is Group Policy Objects (GPO). The article I cited describes in detail how to use the information in the Office Resource Kit (ORK) to manage settings for all users. One of the scenarios described in detail in the section that I directed you to is how to disable toolbar and menu commands using the Group Policy Editor. It also tells how to disable keyboard commands like Ctrl+Shift+R.

The same thing can also be accomplished, I think, with the Custom Maintenance Wizard in the ORK, although I haven't tried it with that tool.

Does that help?
