Prevent file delete no password

Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to protect a document from bein
deleted without making it required to have a password to be opened?
I'm trying to fix some files I've made and save to a network drive
however, I don't want anybody "accidentally" deleting them and the
still have to be accessible without a password.

Hi
this is something that has to be done on network level (setting access
rights). Not anything you can do within Excel
