I'm an admin on a win xp pc
now all the other users can view and read my files even if I set their
account to be limited
How is this possibille

Is there any way I can prevent limited users to view files that the
administrator creates

Convert your file system to NTFS so you can set security
on a file basis....

If your file system is NTFS you can use NTFS permissions on your files.
Right click on the file or folder you wish to protect and go to properties.
Choose Security and grant the appropriate access. Limiting an account only
has an effect on the systems permissions like installing applications and
such.

[snip]

I am using NTFS, and cannot see the permissions tab you have
mentioned. When I right click on a folder, there are 3 tabs:

General, Sharing and Customize

In the Sharing tab, there is no mention of permissions as such and I
know it's not the same thing you are talking about. Is there some sort
of service I need to enable? I'd like to deny access totally i.e.
ability to run selected programs so that when someone uses my computer
via a guest account, they cannot even see if anything is there.

Make sense?
