Presentation and background music

Thought I could figure this out but the song clip only goes to slide one.

Going to make a slide show of about 40-50 slides. I would like background
music to play. After song one ends another song will pick up. I wanted to do
a song for certian slides and then change but that looks like a real PIA. So
I'm comfortable with three songs in order from my machine. How do I set this
up to start playing automatically until the song ends and then pick up with
song two and finally song three?

If its easy how do I have, say the first ten slides play one tune and the
next eight slides play another tune? Is that possible?

Are the songs wavs?

If so add them as transition sounds on relevant slides. See if that works
for you
