PPTP Disconnect every 30 mins

I have a Win2k sp4 server connecting to Win2k3 sp1 server with a dial on
demand pptp interface in RRAS. The connection gets dropped every 30 - 35
mins. I've set the connection type to persistent on both ends. The
connection is reestablished. But it stops file transfers and database
accesses. Events 20158 and 20159 are logged.

I've setup a policy in RRAS for the user to idle timeout of 8000 minutes.

Any idea what is causing the problem?

Problem fixed... Microsoft worked with me for 7 hours on this one. I added
a second NIC and it worked.
