PPTP and Cached profiles

Hi,

I am having a problem with cached profiles on Windows
2000, while connecting via PPTP to VPN server, and
accessing shares on the Network.
I log into my cached "AD Domain" profile on my Win2K
machine; connect to VPN via PPTP, get authenticated; Then
I am unable to access shares on network systems. I can't
connect to them, although I can see them in the browse
list. This doesn't happen when I log in locally to my
machine, not using my cached domain profile. This doesn't
happen in Windows XP clients by the way. HELP!!!

you can go into command prompt and run net use command to see your active
network connection. Close them and retry (net use * /del).
