PPT to PDF - jpgs are pixelated

Christina Crane

Hello

I have created a PDF of my PPT2003 file (using PDF maker) and some of my
images are coming out pixelated, and when I go to print, the images don't
print out but the background does. They are all jpegs, and I compressed
them to 200dpi using the compress pictures on the picture toolbar, but the
PDF I am making is only at 72 dpi (I've tried doing the PDF at 200, but the
same thing happens).

Any ideas?

Skip PDFMaker to start with. Open the presentation, choose File, Print and
pick the Adobe PDF or Distiller driver (depending on which version of Acrobat
you have). Don't use PDFWriter.

Let us know what you get then.

That takes one (possibly troublesome) level of software out of the loop.
