When I try to insert a portrait ppt into another file
that has been created in landscape it changes the
orientation to landscape instead of keeping it portrait.

I have tried to link the files but am unsuccessful. I
need help bad.

Thx,

Hi Leslie,

which version of PowerPoint do you use?
Linking files should work.
How did you create the link?
Try insert an action button and then link to the other PowerPoint file (a
file with a unique name).

I see what you state on your linking. But I want it to be
like PP98 when you could put a landscape and portrait
page into the same presentation and it showed up no
problem.

Now I have PPT2002 and you can't do that...you have to
link correct?

LAS :)

Maybe you meant PowerPoint 98? PowerPoint on the PC has never allowed a mix of
portrait and landscape.

No Portrait/Landscape in any PC version of PowerPoint. Linking is you best
solution.
