Ppt 2007 and Photoshop CS3 gif problem

I have found that animated gifs generated by Photoshop CS3 do not
animate in PPT 2007, at least on my testing of them. The same gif
saved by good old ImageReady CS2 works fine.

I know this is more an ADobe issue, but has anyone any experience.
Can't find anything by Google searching the problem.

I am having a similar problem and I'm really hoping its just because a made a
mistake. I created an animated gif in cs3 and am trying to use it in a
presentation in Powerpoint 2000 9.0. Do you know if the issue remains a
conflict point with cs3 in earlier versions of powerpoint?

It's probably got to do with the header information in the GIF. (PPT might
be partially at fault here, too -- see
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/animated_gifs/gifs.htm. I
don't know which PPT 2007 prefers, though.

PPT 2000 looped continuously regardless of the header information.
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/animated_gifs/gifs.htm What
issue are you having? Is the CS3-created GIF not animating at all in 2000?
