PPT 2003 and video files

I'm preparing a presentation and I need to insert MPEG and AVI files
link in slides.
When I run my presentation and I click on the link to play the media,
Powerpoint 2003 give me a warning trying to open the video.

"Some files can contain virus or damage computer.
Be sure your file is reliable".
And then it asks me if I want to go on.

Can someone tell me how to disable this very annoying problem?
Thank you

How did you insert the videos? Try Insert > Movies and Sounds > Movie from
Tile.

Hi Sonia,
I need to insert in my slides some button with hyperlinks to mpeg and
avi movies.
If I insert them how you said, the result is some windows with the
videos. I want some buttons, instead.

Thank you very much, however :)

Then you will get the virus warning. If you insert as a movie, PowerPoint knows
that no evil code can be activated because it's going to play it. If you link
to the file, PowerPoint warns you that it doesn't know whether the file is safe
or not.

Hi Sonia,
I've already understood the problem, I was looking for a solution.
And I've found it.
I have to insert the hyperlink as "Open a Program", just not as media files.
In the file browser, I choose "All files" instead of "Application" in
file type tag: so I can link a movie and when I click on the button, the
default player starts in order to play the video, without any virus
warning.
bye bye
