PPT 2000 - Multiple Design Templates

I am putting together a presentation that will encompass
the year's activities of 7 committees. I would like to be
able to change the design template for each committee...
is there ANY way to do this without creating multiple
presentations and linking them? I'm going to check the
site recommended by many: http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/
but just in case I don't find what I need, any help would
be much appreciated.
