Got a friend who gets .pps attachments in email. He finds he can't open
them in OE, but saves 'em to hard drive. Then he can open.

What do we do to get Windows XP to open his .pps files in OE ?

PPS filetypes indicate data files by MS PowerPoint, and several
other apps can display them. You should first verify whether
OE is supposed to have this capacity by itself.

I've gone into his pc and downloaded and installed the MS .PPS viewer. It
sound now like there's no association with this for OE files.

How do we get the program associated with opening these files?
