PPS not reading from email w/ PPViewer

I have tried the fixes in this thread but still no work. Some of the fixes
are old. Is there anything new on this problem?

Trying to fire a presentation in an email without saving it first has ALL
sorts of problems and the best recommendation is to tell your recipient to
save the attachment. This is especially true if the presentation contains
any media.

Or you can try zipping up the ppt using using WinZip (www.winzip.com), or
Windows XP Built-in Zip support ( Read here:

What specifically have you sent, what specific problems have you had, and what
email software do the users with problems use?

I downloaded PPViewer 97 from a site I found via Google. PPV 97 seems to be
not available from MS downloads anymore (I tried the sites suggested by Sonia
and others, even tried Download Search, but to no avail.) I installed PPV97
and can now View .pps files directly from OutLook Express. Thanks
