powerpoint viewer

I have downloaded 2007 ppviewer from ms on both my office and home computers.
When I try to open an .pps email sent me, I get an error message stating
that the necessary program is not available but should create necessary
program in "folder options" folder. .pps and other pp endings are already in
folder options. Why will pp viewer not work? Also, with 2007 pp viewer, do
I need to download 2003 pp viewer? Thanks

And no, you don't need the 2003 viewer installed for the 2007 viewer to work
(in fact the 2007 viewer is pretty much the 2003 viewer + the compatability
pack).
