pp viewer 2003 backward compatible

I'm having problems with viewing 2002. Which viewer
would I use for it?
 
I would use the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer because it supports the animations
and transitions that are new in PowerPoint 2002 and 2003. What are the
problems?
