Powertoys Virtual Desktop Manager Deinstall

About 2002 I had installed MS Virtual Desktop Manager (MSVDM) of Powertoys
on my Windows XP Pro. How can I deinstall it? There is no deinstall
routine, no entry in software, no run entry in registry. To get rid off it
I even installed over it the actual version of MS Virtual Desktop Manager
(MSVDM) of Powertoys which has now a deinstallation routine. With it I
could deinstall the new version, but the old version is still there and
working. I want to use now Dexpot 1.2 which has far more to offer and have
to get rid off the old MSVDM first. How do I deinstall this old MSVDM?

If it's not showing up in Add/Remove programs, simple solution is to kill
the process in task manager or in Computer Management/Services, then delete
its file in Windows\System32 folder (msvdm.dll)

Check for it in msconfig, delete or uncheck any reference to it.
